Quality inspection for shelf structures
Purpose of quality inspection for shelf structures: To assess the current quality for calculation and evaluation of the load-bearing capacity of shelf structures and the maximum load they can bear when loaded with steel racks
Legal basis:
- Based on Construction Law No. 50/2014/QH13 dated June 18, 2014, issued by the National Assembly.
- Based on Decree No. 06/2021/NĐ-CP dated January 26, 2021, by the Government regarding Construction Quality Management and Assurance.
- Based on Decree No. 15/2021/NĐ-CP dated March 3, 2021, by the Government concerning Project Management and Investment Planning for Construction Projects.
- Based on the contract.
- Based on the technical design documents for construction, load-bearing specifications, materials catalogs provided by the investor (if available).
- Based on the actual survey results conducted by ICCI at the site, including measurement and testing outcomes

- Compilation of the inspection report.
- If the shelf meets safety standards, a load-bearing safety certificate will be issued.
The quality inspection results of the shelf structure after direct data collection at the construction site, incorporating experiments and evaluative calculations.
Based on the on-site inspection results and the calculated assessment of the load-bearing capacity of the shelf frame, International Construction Inspection Consultancy Joint Stock Company draws the following conclusions:
- The shelf frame structure is capable of bearing maximum loads given its existing dimensions per shelf.
- The investor is not allowed to use shelves with loads exceeding their designated capacity.
